Electromagnetic POWER!!!!!

Well done!
Today the students tied up some loose ends and enjoyed a leisurely day.
The students learned the science behind electromagnets. Everyone achieved the objective of the experiment to lift paperclips.

The students worked on their summative electric cars, outstanding OWA's and DRA's. novel study. The students completed Chapter 19 - 21 and had a work period for the final task.

The students completed the final benchmark assessment this period. The final unit will be Transformational Geometry/ Patterns in Geometry.

The students had their final work period to add finishing touches to their Exhibition essay. Some used this time to continue the novel study.

Music
As usual, the students had music last period with Mrs. Demetrio.

UOI – Sharing the planet
The students explored simple and parallel circuits. Warning! Some light bulbs were harmed in the completion of this experiment.

Information about the summative was shared with the students. Assignment brief will be distributed later this week.
