Prime numbers part 2
Students defined prime and composite numbers in their own words. They worked through examples and started work on text book questions 1 - 11 pages 46 and 47 .
For grade 6's
Please Attempt all of the questions for homework. Make note of any difficult questions and have them ready for class tomorrow.

Working from the Tree House Language program. The grade 5 students will be writing a magazine article about different biomes of the world: Forests; Grasslands; Oceans; Deserts; Tropical Rain Forests.
The Grade 6's are writing a detailed report about an animal of their choice. They had the option to build on previous research done a few weeks ago or pick a new animal to expand upon.
Music
After lunch the students had a vibrant music lesson with Mrs. Angus. Parents please check their agenda to see which pieces they have been asked to practice.
UOI
Characteristics and classification of living things reading and comprehension. The students looked at what criteria is used classify a living organism. They have 5 questions to complete for tomorrow. Question 3 (optional) and 5 require internet research.
