The students took up their unit tests and started the pre-test for unit 1 - Number Patterns. They will complete it tomorrow. Pre-tests are a great tool for the students to determine the success criteria for the unit.

There was a death in the ecosystem today. A snail in one tank passed away this afternoon, cause of death unknown. The students will soon learn that everything returns to Mother Nature. The fish in this particular tank had a delectable snack today to say the least.
The students also discussed the major phyla to wrap up some loose ends on that previous research assignment.

Thank you to Violet, who lead the stretches today. The students had a warm-up of intense skipping to get their hearts beating. There were skipping tutorials for the students new to the skill.
Volleyball drills continued from last week. There was a focus on form when performing a bump and volley.
