The room is looking great with all the Halloween decorations. All the students are beaming about what they will wear and all the candy they plan to eat.

Math
The Grade 5's learned how to use patterns to solve word problems. They worked on lesson 4 on pages 16 and 17 of Math Makes Sense TextBook. Students should attempt questions 1 - 3 on page 18. They will continue on questions 4 -7 in class tomorrow.
Grade 6's collaborated and took up practice book questions on page 6 & 7 patterns in division. They were assigned questions on pages 8 - 9 as a starter activity for tomorrows lesson on solving equations. Attempt as many questions as you can.
Work period
Students edited and worked on their lab reports.
Music
After lunch the students had a fun music lesson with Mrs. Angus. Parents please check their agenda to see which pieces they have been asked to practice.
