Math
The students had their long awaited long division quiz today. Marks will be returned early next week.
Drama
The grade 5 and 6's created scenarios for our improvisations exercise in drama. There were angry parents, children buying expensive cars, marriage proposals, astronauts, 16 year old rebels and happy shop keepers receiving a package.
Library time
The students went to the library to take out books for personal reading and UOI.
International mindedness Day
The students continued their research on the religion of Islam.
Art
The students started their Aboriginal Art today, their piece is inspired by North American First Nations. The students had to choose an animal or plant to be the centre of their piece. They added symbols such as rain, stars, ants and rocks. Lastly, they need to fill their backgrounds with colourful patterns. Typical colours, red, yellow, black and white. This work will be done over 2 or 3 art periods.
