Today was an exciting day in grade 5/6 and at the Maples. Garret shared his amazing Lego remote control car!
During the Math lesson the students practised calculating probability. The PTA organized a delicious pancake lunch for the school. Thank you very much, the smiles and laughter of the children filled the 'dining hall'.
In the afternoon the students worked on novel study and short story during the Language period.
During UOI Ella gave an excellent presentation on her summative research project on Alex Colville. It was thoroughly engaging and she was asked insightful questions from her peers.
Last period of the day was a joint ART lesson.

The grade 5 - 8 created Valentine's cards for loved ones.
After school we had a huge turnout for our first science club. The students learned about matter and made polymers. Excellent work everyone!
