I really enjoying teaching science because students have the opportunity to get hands on and really immerse themselves in the learning experience. Today the students explored electricity and electrical circuits.
The students made some observations on a fruits' ability to produce electricity. They also explored the conductivity of different materials. Ask them whether salt water, a metal spoon or toothpick can conduct electricity?

Spelling Bee
Spelling Bee
Everyone gave a fantastic effort and it was a tough decision. After several rounds of spelling in class 4 students have been selected to represent the grade 5 and 6 class at the St. Jude's Academy versus The Maples Academy Spelling Bee. Letters have been sent home with your child.

The grade 5/6 versus 7/8 Soccer Baseball game and the grade 5/6's were victorious 5 - 2.
