Wow! Words do come alive! The majority of the grade 56 students recited their poems today. They were well rehearsed, funny and clever.
Enjoy a sample from Jack and Peyton.

Novel study conclusion.

The students read the final passages of Percy Jackson and the Olympians in class. They presented their literature cirlce roles to their peers and reflected on the novel study.

The reflection was written in point form notes or paragraphs.
The students discussed and answered the following questions. What did you enjoy about the novel? What was your favourite part(s)? How they felt after reading? What did they learn? How did you like the ending? Were you surprised by the revelation concerning Luke? etc.
You must provide examples.

This will be the basis for the letter to the author activity.

Have a great weekend.
