Math
As usual the students started off their day with a mad minute exercise.
The grade 5's took up the Strategies Toolkit problems. That was followed by a work period for the assessment task Charity Fundraiser.
The grade 5's should begin their work on Show What you Know. Due - this Friday.
The grade 6's took up solving equations. For homework, please look ahead to exploring integers - lesson 5.
Music
As usual after lunch the students had a music lesson with Mrs. Angus. Parents please check their agenda to see which pieces they have been asked to practise.
UOI
The students assigned groups and chose the ancient civilization that they wanted to study. The students are required to create an artifact and poster board to explain it.
