Words were flipped, stacked, and thrown together during the language period. The students demonstrated the IB attribute of cooperation. The peer assessment that took place today was excellent, and they made considerable progress in their poetry writing.
MusicAs usual after lunch the students had a music lesson with Mrs. Angus. Parents please check their agenda to see which pieces they have been asked to practise.
Special Event
At The Maples Academy, there has been a long tradition of mentorship. The grade 5's and 6's were paired with a JK/SK student for our reading buddy program. Once or twice a month the students will get together to either read or, create arts and crafts.
The students had a spectacular time today. Well done.
