On Wednesday, November 30th, students from St. Jude's will be giving a presentation to our parents regarding the benefits of a St. Jude's IB high school education.
The presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m.

MathThe grade 6's worked from the practice book on pages 86-87. Surface Area of Rectangular Prisms - all questions The grade 5's completed an inquiry into capacity and volume. They investigated how capacity and volume are related. They learned how to use displacement to find the volume of object that have regular and irregular shapes.
DanceThe students worked on choreography for the Christmas concert performance.
UOIThe students had a lesson on the parts of the nervous system. The nervous system 1. the brain2. the spinal cord3. the nerves/ nereve cells. Tomorrow the students will review for the quiz on Friday and work on their disease pamphlets. Homework
Brainstorm a disease that you want to learn about. ***Tip*** Pick a disease that affects a specific organ/organ system.
Cancer is off limits. Disease like diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, vision impairments, Crohn's, etc.

MusicAs usual after lunch the students had a music lesson with Mrs. Angus. Parents please check their agenda to see which pieces they have been asked to practise.
