Welcome back, parents and students! Happy New year.
The grade 5’s and 6’s jumped right back into the routine
with Week 15 Mad minute division facts and lesson.
The students worked on Lesson 4 - Line Graphs, from their respective Math
Makes Sense textbook.
No homework this evening and the lesson activities will be
done in class tomorrow.
This week the students will have a spelling test. The
pre-test was given for unit 15 and a small section of activities will be due
this Friday for class/homework. There was a lesson on irregular plurals, watch out for the exceptions.

Singular: I, me, my, mine, you, yours, he, him, his, she, her, hers, it, its. Plural: we, us, our, ours, you,
yours, they, them, their, theirs. Gender. The gender refers to whether the

Thank you Cole and Ben for leading the stretches. The students continued their basketball skills focusing on
ball handling. They also completed drills using their jump shot and lay-ups.
