This morning the students were informed about their groups, mentors and topics. Afterwords, there was a productive period of collaboration, brainstorming for the central idea, and research topics.
Over the next few days, please visit your local library for research material.
Music
As usual after lunch the students had music lessons with Mrs. Angus. Parents please check their agenda to see which pieces they have been asked to practice.
Math
The students learned/reviewed the skill of measuring angles. They worked form their exercise books pages 153 - 155 Grade 5 and pages 147 - 149 Grade 6. Most students completed the activity during class time.
Students that finished early worked on their essay's or Caribou math contest.
