There is a long standing tradition of mentorship at the Maples between the grade levels. The grade 5 and 6 students have paired up with Mrs. O’s
SK students to read and create arts and crafts occasionally. The aim of this program is to foster friendship and establish an ethos of respect throughout the school. They are so cute!

UOI – WHERE WE ARE IN PLACE AND TIME
The students worked collaboratively to
complete a jigsaw activity. They broke into small groups to learn about a specific
aspect of the life of an early aboriginal. The groups learned about, food,
tools, shelter, buffalo and hunting. After working in small groups, they shared
what they learned with the class. Well done.
