Rowan's Law Day

Reminders

Tomorrow students are allowed to wear their Terry Fox shirt to school all day. If they don’t have a Terry Fox shirt, they can change at last recess before the race. Parents are invited to attend.

Next week is the PTA Thanksgiving dessert. Please look on the PTA board for volunteer signup sheets.

Please bring in your Casual Day money – Casual Day is the last Wednesday of every month. $2/day $20 for the year.

Today the students had a productive day. They took up the BEMDAS homework collaboratively and went over a few examples of addition and subtraction of whole numbers. Please complete the practice problems for homework. The students had the usual French lesson with Mme. Villeneuve's blog, and  Physical and Health Education with  Miss. Cranfield’s blog.

This year the staff and students learned about Rowan’s Law. Rowan's Law. On March 6th, 2018 – Ontario passed concussion safety legislation to protect amateur athletes and play sports safer on the field and at school. The student learned definitions, symptoms, prevention and treatment of concussions.

This afternoon the students had Drama and read book 8 of The Odyssey.
