This morning the grade 6’s
learned techniques to round Decimals. Please see math makes sense lesson 4. Homework
problems can be found on page 127 Q. 1 – 3 and any 2 from Q. 4 – 10
The grade 7’s learned strategies
to compare and order fractions. They reviewed some benchmark fractions and went
over examples to create like fractions.

An inquiry into language
The students completed
chapter 6 and discussed how social media and the internet are used in awareness
campaigns.
The students also had a
period to work on their speeches and grammar skills.
No spelling dictation
for unit 18. Grammar skills due this Friday as usual.
