While the class waited for everyone to complete the math test, the other students had the option of working on their unit of inquiry picture essay or their art. Most students chose to work on the unit of inquiry work with their partners.
When everyone was done, the students broke off into dance groups and practiced and/or researched their cultural dance. The group performing the can-can got in a lot of practice. The hula girls looked to be getting the steps worked out. And the Scottish dance trio chose to use their time for research about the dance.
We did a class and hallway clean up in the afternoon before heading over to the arena for skating. All the students seemed to have a great time skating with their friends or playing hockey.
