During 5he morning assembly the Track and Field Day Awards were given to all of the students. Take a look at some pictures and videos.
The first lesson of the day was writing, the students worked on the second OWA entry for persuasive writing.
Finally, math lessons resume! The grade 6's learned how to convert fractions to decimals. Homework on page 310 of the text 1, 6, 8 and 13.
The grade 5's learned how fractions relate to division. Work will be completed in tomorrow's lesson.
Lastly, the students started the new Unit of inquiry Government and the rights and responsibilities of citizens. They were introduced to the Charter of rights and freedoms and work will continue tomorrow.
