The students concluded their introductory lesson to The Market place. This unit of inquiry focuses on Canada and its trading partners.

In the first part of the lesson (Tuesday) the students were divided into 4 countries: Brazil, Canada, USA, and China. They traded natural resources, fuel, food and manufactured goods to simulate what happens in the real world. They quickly discovered that not all trades are fair and some negotiations can quickly break down.
