This morning the students started the measurement unit; unit 6 of Math Makes Sense. Some topics the grade 6's will be covering are estimating and calculating volume and surface area.
The grade 5's will cover topics including but not limited to: learn how to count money, using metric units up to tonnes.

Hatchet has come to an end! Ask your son/daughter how they liked the ending of the book.
UOI
At the end of every unit IB students write reflections.
- What they worked hardest on.
- Their best work.
- What IB attribute did they display in that unit.
- What they need to improve on.
The students had the period to complete their reflections on the Art through Shapes Unit.
Creative Writing
Valentine's Story
Create a story using all the pictures with the theme of Valentine's Day. Please ask your son or daughter what they came up with in class.
Games, card exchange, food and laughter. What a way to wrap up the week, have a splendid long weekend.
