The grade 6's began working on surface area for this lesson.
Question 1 on page 222 should be done for homework.
Remember the steps

3. find the sum of the prism by adding the area of each face.
Grade 5's worked on extra practice questions for Capacity and Making change using the tenths and hundredths place value.
They completed all work in class, no homework this evening.
Special Event
The whole school went to the gym for a good ol' line dance. Enjoy the photos.
Language
The A80 group read 2 chapters. Chapter 24 concluded with detective Fix receiving battering from Passepartout for his schemes. Next reading - chapter 25 - 27.
The remaining students worked on their narrative.
UOI
The class went over the natural resources found in the U.S.A. . They were surprised that the a clean drinking water was a resource that was imported from neighbouring countries. They also learned what hydroelectricity is.
Gym
Another sweaty day in the Maples Gym! The students preformed:
1. Weighted squats 2. push-ups / burpees 3. suicides 4. sit-ups with 'medicine balls'
The students played with the parachute for a bit of nostalgia. They also played Pins Up, Pins Down.
