The grade 6's took up their questions on multiples in math. Tomorrow the they will be learning about prime and composite numbers. The grade 5's completed addition questions on p. 14 #1 and p. 15 #3-5 in their homework book. They then had a lesson on adding 3 large numbers. We talked about keeping our numbers lined up correctly and also combining numbers that go together well to make it simpler to add. They tried their new skills on p. 16 #1.
At the end of the day in language, the students individually read the rest of chapter 4 and answered the corresponding comprehension questions.
