Our morning started with drama today. The focus of the class was body language and using our bodies to display meaning without talking. The students warmed up by acting as Pinocchio becoming a real boy. Then the students created scenes acting as the landscape in picture. Next, they completed a health sheet on alcohol abuse.
Following recess, we took up the lifestyles chart in the unit of inquiry. Students shared answers and added to their charts. We also talked about International Mindedness day next Thursday and what we'll be doing. Students also had a chance to start researching and working on the writing portion of their artifact.
In math, performance tasks were completed and handed in. To conclude the day, the students practiced turning two sentences into one and using a variety of sentences in language.
