In the morning, we met with the grade 7/8 class (Germany) to play some games. The Germans, with their experience, jumped out to an early lead and were clearly winning the battle. However, the British made a valiant comeback to keep things close before the Germans defeated the British in the end. The class seemed to really enjoy the friendly competition.
Following the games, we came back to class and discussed Great Britain's involvement in World War I and how the war would have affected their lives in their country.
After a late French class, the students prepared for the presentation of their meal. I think everyone left the meal satisfied and I even heard a few students remark about they wanted to eat more, but were too full.
At the end of the day we were treated to a traditional Scottish dance by Abby. She performed 2 dances and did an excellent job explaining their origins.
We will be setting up our ancient civilizations museum for 2:15 pm tomorrow. If any parents would like to come early before pick-up time and walk through our museum to see the artifacts, you are more than welcome.
