Language started with the grade 6's taking up their previous day's questions. Then, they placed some plot points on the narrative arc bulletin board before moving onto chapter 5. The grade 5's were asked to make changes and improvements to last day's work.
Students used math class to finish their graphs. They improved titles and font sizes. They also sized the graph on a separate sheet and included the mean, median and mode. They were required to use the print preview to make sure their graph filled a page.
A couple of students needed to finish gluing their cardboard faces in art, but most students returned to completing their ASCII pictures on the computer.
The unit of inquiry period was spent working on the healthy menu and exercise plans.
Remember that next Tuesday is the class' speech presentation day in the morning, parents are welcome to attend.
