December Birthday Circle on Thursday
Last period on Thursday the students can bring in some treats to share with the class.
We will play some festive games and activities.
Please ensure the treats are peanut free.
Homework
Novel study Read Chapter 11 and 12
Complete notes, vocabulary and activities (see Monday blog post).
Grade 6's review geometry for assessment.
Math
The students worked on a variety of activities. Grade 6's completed there practice test and show what you know.
Some grade 5 students worked on a graphing activity and the others worked on the Geometry unit culminating assessment.
Language
The students reviewed level 4 examples of a narrative and what are the elements of a good narrative story.
They worked on their OWA independently.
Music
As usual after lunch the students had a music lesson with Mrs. Angus. Parents please check their agenda to see which pieces they have been asked to practice.
Work period
The students had a work period to work on homework assignments and OWA's.
UOI
The students continued their investigation of European explorers.
