New Unit - Unit 4 Decimals
Coins up Close - the grade 5's did an investigation on the properties of coins from the Canadian mint.
The grade 6's identified the success criteria for the decimals unit.
There was a joint lesson using base 10 blocks to represent decimal numbers up to the tenths place value.
Language
On Tuesday the grade 56's started a persuasive writing outline. They completed steps 7 to 9 in class today. Task: Using your outline, write a friendly letter to persuade someone to do something (as planned through the outline). Some students have opted to write in an alternative format, however, a friendly letter is recommended.
