Novel study comprehension questions for chapters 1 to 3 due FridayGrammar skills 14 and spelling 21 Due Monday.
Math
Grade 5's worked on subtracting decimals questions from the text book and took up the questions. No homework
The grade 6's took up the homework, and had a lesson on multiplying whole numbers by 0.1, 0.01, and 0.001.
Home work can be found on page 144, Questions 1, 2 (don't describe), 3 (use a calculator to divide, if needed) , 5 and reflect.

Language
5 paragraph essay for the Exhibition project. The students learned about writing an introduction paragraph.
They must include a catching hook, one sentence of background information, thesis statement and three supporting points.
Essay instructions
Write a five paragraph persuasive essay to demonstrate your understanding of your exhibition topic. Your body paragraphs should cover the lines of inquiry studied by your group.
Format
- Introductory paragraph with a clear thesis statement.
- Three body paragraphs
- Conclusion paragraph
- Bibliography in MLA format
- In text citations
Presentation
· The written essay should be 2 pages or more, double spaced, and typed in 12 point font.
· Have a 1 title page with the title, your name, teacher, school, due date: May 9th, 2016
· Bibliography on separate page
· You are required to submit a minimum of 2 hard copy rough drafts, so the editing and revising process can be documented.
· Final draft printed to be displayed with presentation board.
