This week's star student is Jada. She took on extra responsibilities in class as well as for music class. She showed dedication and took the initiative to complete all of her work before the extra music lesson.

Caribou practice test. Competition test is scheduled for tomorrow.
About half the class worked on review problems. The students had the choice of division facts and problem solving, or number patterns exercises.

Spelling unit 11 pre-test

Today's lesson focused on the respiratory system. The students learned how the lung inflate and deflate by creating a model using everyday household items. The discussed the flow of air into the system through the several components and out as carbon dioxide.
Question 5 is a research question that looks at the effects of pollen, pollution and smoking on the health of the lungs. 1 paragraph at least half a page to a maximum of 1 page.

Today the students had their volleyball evaluations. They were assessed on volleying skills, bumps and game play.
