Math
Today half of the grade 5/6 students wrote their Caribou Contest. The other students continued their practice work on division and number patterns.
Music
As usual after lunch the students had a music lesson with Mrs. Angus. Parents please check their agenda to see which pieces they have been asked to practise.
UOI
The students completed their work on the respiratory system. They inquired about the anatomical structure of the lungs and the consequences of smoking.
Following that they examined the circulatory system. The students learned the difference between arteries and veins.
The students conducted a scientific inquiry in gym. They investigated what effects physical activity has on the heart rate.
