Science Day

Congratulations to Peyton and Ella, they competed in the Knights of Columbus Spelling Bee last night. They both represented the school superbly. The Maples Academy has a history of top finishes. Peyton placed second, well done! 

This morning Mr. Tim Thompson from Orangeville Water Works was our guest speaker. He spoke to the grades 5 - 8 about water treatment and sustainability. Thank you Mr. Thompson for your time and interesting presentation. The students asked fantastic questions. Mr. Thompson also contributed to The Exhibition project this year. I'm very grateful for the generosity of the Orangeville community. 

Science Fair
The grade 5's and 6's presented their projects along with the 7's and 8's. They did a wonderful job.
