Dear parents,
Welcome to grade five and six for the 2017 – 2018 academic
year.
I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself, my
name is Aldaine Hunt and this year I will be teaching a combined grade five and
six class. Our school wouldn’t be a success without the close ties between
teachers and the parent community. It is a delight to have such supportive
parents and I look forward to building and strengthening my partnership with you.
This summer I spent time travelling, developing curriculum
and enjoying time with family. This year I will be responsible for teaching mathematics,
language (including Daily 5, spelling and language skills) and Unit of Inquiry
through the IB programme. The instruction of French will be taught by Mme.
Villeneuve and Music by Mrs. Demetriou. Physical and Health Education will be
taught by Miss. Cranfield. Visual Art will be delivered once a week by Jada
Doucette. Additionally, our classroom has
relocated to the east side of the building near the student entrance of the
school.
