The grade six’s worked on Lesson 4 - Exploring Multiples.

The learned how to list multiples and identify the lowest common multiples in a set of numbers.

Lesson 2 - Using Mental Math to Add

The grade 5 students learned various strategies for rounding, and adding numbers without using a calculator.

UOI – Spelling

Language skills – Short vowel sounds. 

The students were assigned their first language skills activities. They will be completed during work periods and if needed at home. The questions are due on Friday September 15^th.

Unit one spelling dictation, the students were given their spelling words for the week. Please practice at home for the post test on Friday.

The students began their novel study Tuck Everlasting written by Natalie Babbitt.
