Mathematics
The students had an introduction to Order of Operations. They explored a few examples and are
encouraged to try questions 1 – 3 for homework. Part 2 of the lesson will be
completed tomorrow.

Language/ Unit of Inquiry
Spelling Pre-test unit 3
The students completed the In the Cliffs activity. They drew
the scene from the story. They learned that using descriptive phrases and words
enhance your writing. When writing your myths be sure to include lots of descriptive
phrases and adjectives.
The students read Book 6 and & of the Odyssey.
Lastly, the students reviewed the novel study package. The
word file and pdf will be posted on Google Classroom for convenience and access.
