Math
The grade 6’s took up their homework from the previous lesson. They also
had a period to complete problems from the Jump math exercise book page 130,
Discrete and Continuous Data. They learned about discrete and continuous data
last week.
The grade 7’s learned how to make predictions from sample data. See unit
syllabus for suggested homework problems.

Reading buddies with the SK class.
There is a long tradition at the Maples of
mentorship between grade levels. The grade 6 students pair up with Ms. Giles’
SK students to read occasionally with their reading buddies. They are so cute!

UOI
The students explored commands to
create animations. They learned how to use speech, glide and costume change blocks.
At the end of the lesson they had an opportunity to share their creations with
the class.
