At the beginning of the day, students had time in language to write their dragon narratives. They will be able to follow their story plans to create their piece of writing.
In math, the students learned about rounding. The grade 5's were rounding decimals to the nearest whole number and the grade 6's were rounding to whole numbers, tenths and hundredths. Grade 5's answered questions from their textbook on p. 126 #1-3, 5 and 7. Grade 6's worked on p. 127/128 #1-3, 5 and 8.
During the unit of inquiry, students started their plans for their religious item that they have chosen to make. They also had time to practice through their dance and possibly finish up art if they needed something extra.
