Students shared their jobs for literature circles in language. They had plenty of time afterwards to read and complete their next job. At least half of the class was able to finish before the end of the period.
In math, a small group worked with Mr. Hunt to go over some difficult areas of decimals. Another group completed the review for the grade 6 test tomorrow with me. The were able to practice and ask questions, clearing up material from the beginning of the unit.
At the end of the day, students met in their groups for the unit of inquiry and gathered more research. The group members are each looking at a particular aspect of their topic.
