We have cowgirls in the grade 5 6 class today, Yee HAW!
Special event
Spelling Bee tournament with Mrs. Nelson 's grade 3 &4 class.
Congratulations to Cole, Ben and Bramley who placed first, second and third respectively. They will be representing The Maples Academy on Monday at 10:30am. Please come out for the exciting event.
For the Grade 6`s we have Abby, and Karlynn first and second respectively .

After lunch the students had music with Mrs. Angus.
After music the students had a work period. They utilized the time to complete OWA, DRA`s and novel study work.
The last period was spent working on our Charter of Rights and Freedoms question for Unit of inquiry. Students had to explain which right and freedom they felt is the most important and why? Along with a series of questions to test their understanding of the Charter.
