This morning the students worked on their dance routines and they are almost finished.
French The students had an extended french lesson today first and third period.
In math the students requested a follow up lesson on estimating percents to clear up some misconceptions. Everything is straightened out now.
Music The students had their usual music lesson after lunch and returned to class in good spirits.
During the work period we continued with the scheduled math lesson for the day. Grade 6's explored ratios and the grade 5's learned how to multiply decimals with tenths. They used base ten blocks as visual aids and also learned a method to check their answer without a calculator.
Lastly, during unit of inquiry the students continued the discussion on the federal government and Exhibition marks were returned.
Good luck to our students competing in the 1500 m race tonight.
