Language The students started their first OWA(Ontario Writing Assessment) - report writing.
French
No french lesson on Friday September 18th, as Mme. V will be at St. Jude's.
Library
As an IB world school the classroom library needs to be stocked with related books for each unit of inquiry. The students picked out some titles for Diversity of Living Things and some personal reading books.
Classification lesson #2
A fundamental human attribute is the desire to organize and group the world. Scientists have been placing plants and animals in groups for as long as we can remember. The students conducted an activity to create groups for a set of miscellaneous objects. They then completed and took up an accompanying exercise sheet to assess their understanding.There were several fantastic responses!
