Our language class consisted of taking up the chapter 10 questions and crafting the written response. The students were asked to write about what happened to Claudia and Jamie 10-20 years in the future.
Before math the class was asked to do some jobs for the Fall Festival, but when we got down to work the grade 5's worked on p. 28 #1 and 2 and p. 29 #2. Anyone that finished early was invited to try the stretch your thinking. The grade 6's had homework book taken up and then they had a lesson on multiplying. They were given a blank multiplication chart to fill in to help remind them of their multiplication tables.
