The grade 6's had their textbook work taken up in math. The went on to complete questions from their homework book on p. 72 and 73. The grade 5's completed a review of material that they learned before the break and made corrections in their homework book.
After lunch, Mrs. Ruby was again with class while I went with the grade 7/8's to gym. The students had an opportunity to work on speeches. I emphasized having speeches written as soon as possible so that revisions can be made. Students have started writing speeches and a few are finished and are working on memorization.
Final preparations were made today during the unit of inquiry for the slideshow presentations tomorrow. Students finished slides, made corrections and practiced speaking parts.
