No Grammar Skills

The students began the probability portion of the Data Management unit. They learned essential definitions for the unit:
  • Outcomes
  • Likely
  • Unlikely
  • Impossible
  • Certain

The students assessed the outcomes of simple games e.g., flip-a-coin, drawing coloured chips and rock-paper-scissors.

As usual please check out Miss. Cranfiled’s blog.

As usual please check out Mme. Villeneuve's blog.

UOI – Who we are
The students brainstormed problems that occur in society. These problems can affect people globally, nationally or locally.

The students brainstormed over 20 ideas in class. They were instructed to pick a few on or off the list and conduct some preliminary research this evening. Please think of 3 – 5 topics you may want to learn about and how you may solve the problem. All ideas are valid unless they are inappropriate for the age level or they don’t contain a viable action component (applying your learning to fix a problem).

As usual, the students had music last period with Mrs. Demetrio.
